LankaMe offers three plans, we would like to introduce each of them.
For all plans, we will arrange a government-certified Tourist Guide Driver or a driver with a Chauffeur Guide License.
Types of Drivers for Tourist in Sri Lan (Tourist Driver and Chauffeur Guide Driver)
Before explaining each plan, we would like to briefly explain the tourist guide licensing system in Sri Lanka.
There are two types of tourist driver licenses in Sri Lanka: Tourist Driver and Chauffeur Guide Driver. The table below summarizes the differences between them.
Standard Plan：A cost-effective plan focused on transportation
The Standard Plan is a plan focused primarily on transportation. The driver we arrange will be a Tourist Driver.
While the driver is not licensed to provide guided tours, this plan is designed for professional, reliable transfers.
Please note that we are not able to arrange safari jeeps or whale-watching tours under this plan. If you would like to join these activities, you will need to make the arrangements yourself.
Recommended for travelers who:
- Want to keep costs as low as possible
- Do not need a guide
- Do not plan to stop at_toggle at major sightseeing spots such as Sigiriya Rock
- Prefer to focus mainly on beach resorts
Platinum Plan: A Plan with a Guide and Dedicated Support Included
The Platinum Plan is our most recommended option. We primarily arrange a Chauffeur Guide Driver. However, if a Chauffeur Guide Driver is not available—such as during peak season—we will arrange a highly rated Tourist Driver instead.
Even if a highly rated Tourist Driver is assigned, we will provide an on-site guide at each attraction at no additional cost. This allows us to offer a guiding service that is essentially the same as when a Chauffeur Guide Driver is arranged.
In addition, your support desk contact will be a dedicated manager with the most experience. We will provide comprehensive support from every angle to help finalize your itinerary. This plan also enables us to arrange activities such as the appropriate safari jeep and whale watching.
We can also assist with ticket arrangements for the tea train if you are unable to book it online. Please note, however, that we cannot guarantee availability for the tea train.
Despite including guiding services and a wide range of support, this plan is offered at a very reasonable price. For these reasons, the Platinum Plan is the option we recommend most.

Royal Plan: Recommended for Ultimate Travel Experience
The Platinum Plan may not always allow us to arrange a Chauffeur Guide Driver during peak season. However, with the Royal Plan, we can guarantee a highly rated Chauffeur Guide Driver.
All other support desk services and arrangements are the same as the Platinum Plan.
