Activities LankaMe can arrange
MOST POPULAR
Safari jeeps: our most popular wildlife experience
A safari brings you close to Sri Lanka’s wildlife, from leopards in Yala National Park to elephants in Minneriya and Kaudulla, as well as birds and crocodiles. Dedicated safari jeeps are required inside the parks. Arranging a jeep alongside your private car itinerary helps the day run smoothly.

HEALING
Ayurveda: a relaxing stop between sightseeing
Alongside residential retreats, the Sigiriya region and southwest coast have venues where you can enjoy Ayurveda during a shorter visit. An oil treatment or relaxation session between sightseeing stops can be a welcome break on a touring holiday with frequent journeys.

OCEAN ADVENTURE
Whale watching: an early-morning adventure off Mirissa
The waters off Mirissa are known for whale watching, with the dry season from around November to April generally the best time. Boats leave early and spend approximately three to five hours looking for whales and dolphins. LankaMe can discuss arranging a whale-watching tour for guests on Platinum plans and above.

HONEYMOON
Wedding photography: traditional attire or a wedding dress
Photographs in Sri Lankan traditional attire, including a king’s dress or sari, make a special honeymoon memory. We can also arrange photography in a Western wedding dress. Ask about locations such as Kandalama or Galle to suit your itinerary.

Village tours
Village tours around Sigiriya offer a glimpse of everyday rural life. Ox-cart rides, catamaran trips and a meal in a local home introduce a side of Sri Lanka beyond the main sightseeing stops.

BAWA ARCHITECTURE
Lunuganga private tour: flexible visiting times from one guest
Visit architect Geoffrey Bawa’s garden and country house in Bentota. LankaMe can arrange a private tour in advance for one guest or more. We coordinate your preferred time so you can plan your day around a confirmed booking rather than waiting for a scheduled group tour, reducing the risk of arriving to find a tour fully booked.

BAWA ARCHITECTURE · COLOMBO
Number 11 private tour: visit Bawa’s Colombo home
Explore the Colombo house where architect Geoffrey Bawa lived. LankaMe can arrange a private tour in advance for one guest or more. We coordinate your preferred time with the venue and confirm the booking, helping you avoid a wait for a scheduled group tour or arriving when all places are taken.

CULTURE
Astrology: a tradition deeply rooted in Sri Lankan culture
Astrology is closely connected with important life events in Sri Lanka. An astrologer uses your date, time and place of birth to prepare a horoscope and interpret topics such as personality, work, marriage and the flow of fortune. LankaMe’s drivers can introduce an astrologer, and language support can be discussed.

PLATINUM PLAN+
Tea train: ask about the three-hour section on Platinum plans and above
For tea-estate scenery and the Nine Arch Bridge, we particularly recommend the approximately three-hour journey from Nanu Oya, near Nuwara Eliya, to Demodara, near Ella. LankaMe’s booking assistance is limited to Platinum plans and above, and a reservation cannot be guaranteed. Trying an online booking yourself through services such as 12Go.Asia or Bookaway is usually more economical. See the guide for prices and points to check when requesting arrangements through a Platinum plan or above.
