- What is LankaMe?

LankaMe is an online intermediary service operated by Sri Lanka Taxi Charter Service International Limited (Hong Kong). We mainly match travellers with tourist drivers registered with the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA).
- Will I be able to meet up with the driver without issues?

Yes. We share the driver’s contact details before departure, so you can reach out in advance. If something unexpected occurs, you can also contact us by email (and our local support).
- How do you ensure driver reliability and professionalism?

We carefully select our local drivers, focusing on driving experience, punctuality, communication and customer service. Our team is also available to assist if any issues arise during your journey.
- What if there’s an accident or other unforeseen trouble?

We place importance on safety measures and our support system. In the unlikely event of a problem, we will coordinate with local partners to respond.
- What if my plans change at the last minute?

Up to 7 days before (inclusive): no cancellation fee; any agency service fee already paid to us will be fully refunded. 2–6 days before (inclusive): the agency service fee is non-refundable (treated/claimed as the cancellation fee). From the day before / on the start date: no refunds for any reason. Any agency service fee already paid to us will be retained and not returned. Applies equally to a no-show.

All vehicles are private cars with air-conditioning, so you can travel comfortably. Note: Buses and trains may lack air-conditioning, carry a higher risk of heat exhaustion, and are often full with no seats available.
