We thoroughly enjoyed our nine-day, seven-night trip. Best of all, every day someone in the family would say, “I’m so glad we came—thank you for planning this trip!” We hope to return one day and visit the areas we could not reach this time.

The support was excellent. We shared all our requests, and they carefully checked the time and travel distances before giving us a clear answer about what was realistically possible. That was extremely reassuring. Above all, their consistently fast replies were what gave us the confidence and trust to make our decision.

The local team also respected our family’s wishes and assigned us an excellent driver. Whenever we made a request or asked for advice, he responded immediately. Despite having so much knowledge, he did not constantly push recommendations on us. As Japanese travellers who sometimes find it difficult to decline suggestions, we greatly appreciated that. We were also delighted by how safely he drove—far more carefully than we had imagined.

Every day’s guiding and driving exceeded our expectations, so it is impossible to choose only one highlight. Our family wanted to visit and climb many places, and at times we enjoyed ourselves so thoroughly that we worried whether we would stay on schedule. In the end, he always made sure we arrived on time.

We also spent one full day relaxing at our hotel without seeing him. We appreciated that he respected our hotel time and did not try to suggest outings. When travelling abroad, we often meet energetic people eager to provide service. Their enthusiasm can be welcome, but declining repeated offers can also be stressful, and sometimes we accept things reluctantly and feel uncomfortable afterward. With Isuru, we experienced none of that stress. His style of attentively respecting our preferences suited us perfectly.

At the same time, Isuru was exceptionally dependable whenever his help was needed. One moment that made us especially happy involved the tea train. A section of the route had been closed after a hurricane, but on the day of our journey Isuru told us that service had resumed. He negotiated with the station staff so that we could remain on the train beyond the destination on our advance tickets. Thanks to him, our tea-train experience was even better than we had expected!

Isuru was always calm, reserved and quiet, and did not seem naturally inclined to overreact. Yet at every important moment he was a thoroughly dependable presence, for which we are truly grateful.

Thanks to Isuru, we had the best honeymoon!

The operator was very kind and answered all our questions with great care. We were able to enjoy our honeymoon trip with peace of mind.
