I was hesitant to apply before I went because it wasn't a cheap expense, but in the end I feel really glad that I used LankaMe this time. First of all, I was put in charge of the operator, Mr. Sato, and he was always very prompt and courteous in making suggestions and providing guidance, and he was a very dependable person that I could talk to about anything I had even the slightest concern about. Our trip was about two months after Cyclone Ditwah had passed, but each time we spoke, they explained in detail the latest information on sightseeing spots that was changing day by day, which was very helpful in planning and rebuilding.

Since we were limited to 3 people, we considered a small car, but if we were going to be traveling with a lot of luggage for a long time, we decided on a VAN type, which turned out to be a great decision. Even with three extra-large suitcases on board and the extra souvenirs from the sub-bags on the seats, all three of us could still sit comfortably.It was a much larger car than I had imagined, and I was very satisfied with the overall price difference.

The best thing about using LankaMe was that I was able to have the friendly and bright driver Ranjanna guide me around Sri Lanka. 100 points for his driving skills, from narrow roads to mountain roads, and 120 points for his hospitality, which was responsive to our detailed requests and changes! ! More than that, he always tried to put himself in the same shoes as us, thinking about how to make the trip even better, and he gave us 1000 points for his warm kindness and repeated jeep rides from the perspective of local, unexplored areas. I'm really glad I met Ranjanna and was able to guide me. Stutti ☺︎

This trip made me realize that Ranjana is a truly professional guide and driver. I had gathered information about Sri Lanka in advance, but there was a lot of information that only locals would know, such as where each item was located and where it was cheaper to buy. On that point, Ranjana shared that information and suggested the most suitable travel plans each time. Although it was a long stay for a Japanese person of 7 days, it was a precious vacation for us working adults, so I am truly grateful to Ran-chan for making each day to the fullest. In addition, Ran-chan had lived in Japan, so in addition to being fluent in Japanese, he understood the Japanese Takaya culture (clean toilets, how to use them, etc...) and was very supportive. Thanks to Ran-chan, I fell in love with Sri Lanka ^^☺

This was my first time in Sri Lanka, and thanks to Ranjana, it was a very enjoyable trip.

While listening to our preferences and what we wanted to do, they carefully proposed a plan that would allow us to see the highlights based on the plan we had planned in advance. I was so happy that I was able to practice Ayurveda in my free time and go to Nuwara Eliya, which I had given up on due to the cyclone!

For all of our meals, we went to the restaurants recommended by Ran, and all of them were delicious and we were very satisfied!

I wasn't very good at English, so I was a little nervous about the trip, but thanks to Ranjana's easy-to-understand explanations of the places we were visiting, Sri Lanka's history, culture, and relationship with Japan, I was able to spend my days at ease. I am truly grateful for not only the translation but also the assistance with restaurant reservations.

I would also like to recommend LankaMe and Ran-chan when I visit Sri Lanka, as well as when my friends travel to Sri Lanka!

For our honeymoon, they arranged for Ranjana, who is very popular, and I was very happy with her consideration.

From the pre-reservation inquiry stage, Mr. Sato responded very carefully. They proposed several plans that fit our schedule and made sure that our wishes came true as much as possible, so we were able to request a tour with great peace of mind. Thank you very much.

Thanks to our driver Ranjena, we were able to make memories that will last a lifetime. Despite our short stay, we were able to enjoy a more fulfilling tour of Sri Lanka than we had hoped. They took me to Ayurveda which I hadn't planned on, introduced me to recommended local shops, and even gave me a tour of Kandy city on short notice.

I was able to drive safely and have peace of mind during the long journey, and the driver enjoyed talking with me in the car, making the journey very enjoyable. We had such a wonderful time that I felt so sad when we said goodbye.

A perfect guide to show us Sri Lanka

Our driver, Lasith, from LankaMe Travel, was absolutely fantastic throughout our trip. We had the platinum package, and he made every moment feel special. Lasith was always punctual and professional, yet personable and friendly. On my daughter’s 8th birthday (the second day of our trip), he surprised us by decorating the van with balloons, bringing a cake, and playing “Happy Birthday” on the radio which was such a thoughtful gesture.

When he unfortunately fell ill on a transfer day, he kept us fully informed and arranged for his cousin to step in seamlessly, ensuring we were never inconvenienced in the slightest. Once recovered (the following day), he continued with us, always making us feel safe on the road. He shared fascinating stories about Sri Lanka, giving us insights we wouldn’t have had on our own.

All my communication with LankaMe was great - from my first enquiry through to meeting Lasith at the airport. Lasith’s genuine care and dedication, as well as his natural love of his country, made our trip even more memorable. I highly recommend LankaMe travel as a company and Lasith - he was exceptional!

I planned a trip to see the architecture of Sri Lankan architect Geoffrey Bawa with my colleagues at an architectural design company, and asked LankaMe to help us.

I originally had a rough schedule in mind, but Ms. Ranjena said, ``If you're going to this area, this is also recommended,'' so she adjusted the schedule so that we could efficiently tour the Bawa architecture, and she also stopped by nearby tourist spots and showed us around.

I was also happy that they were able to flexibly respond to random requests such as wanting to go to a tea or sapphire shop, or wanting to try on a sari, and were able to incorporate the perfect shop into their schedule each time. The Ayurveda experience that you suggested was also a very good memory.

At Sigiriya Rock, he accompanied me to the top, which was very reassuring, and the restaurants he introduced to me were all delicious, so it was a very satisfying trip, including the food.

On the day, the driver drove safely and the travel was smooth. His suggestions—based on our itinerary and the weather—were excellent. Thanks to his guidance, we were able to enjoy experiences that were not originally in our plans, including an Ayurveda treatment, a full day at Heritance Kandalama, a visit to a spice garden, and learning about Sri Lankan gemstones. He was also exceptionally considerate, and my wife—who was traveling abroad for the first time—felt comfortable and reassured throughout the journey.

He also recommended clean restaurants that suited Japanese tastes, which allowed us to relax and enjoy our meals without any stress.
